Embrace your passion!

So a few weeks ago I decided to pull back the covers that I have been hiding under the last few years and hosted an intimate gathering for women in transition and on this crazy journey called life. It has been several years since I have done anything for Empower Her, Inc. I pushed passed my fear and doubt that has held me hostage during my wilderness season of transition.

What a beautiful evening! The movie night gathering was centered around the Netflix movie “Nappily Ever After Movie” in which the main character who is normally perfect in every way goes through a major setback in her life that shakes up everything . She cuts her hair and peels back all of the layers in her life to get to her true self. I thought this would be a great movie to launch my Women in Transition series of events. I want to gather with women and have authentic conversations about what is really going on in our lives and how we can slow down, rest and align with the changing rhythms of life. The night was beautiful, authentic and amazing. I loved getting back into what I am passionate about which is creating a safe and beautiful space to empower and support women.

So on this day I encourage everyone to dig into what you are passionate about. Face fears and doubts head on and do more of what makes you happy. Putting on events that empower women and spark real conversation, change and healing is what I love! To the women that gathered with that night thanks for coming to my home, being open, vulnerable loving and allowing me the safe space to get my feet wet again! #selfcare #empowerherinc #passion #empowerherinc #nappilyeverafter #womenintransition
